Week 6 - MBA 6101 - Surfing the Tsunami Chapter 6

Surfing the Tsunami details the three levels of responding at artificial intelligence (AI): adapt, adopt and adept. Author, Todd Kelsey, recommends that everyone become adept to AI. Someone who is adept to AI is an expert. In this level, one should look at AI assistance through emerging platforms. In the case of creating a website, there are many tools out there that allow someone to create a website without knowing how to write code. Implementation of this type of platform is a way to take someone from the adopt stage to the adept stage. Machine learning has a huge impact in todays world. There are 7 steps of machine learning: gathering data, preparing the data, choosing a model, training, evaluation, parameter tuning, and prediction. Many businesses implement the use of AI as a way to work with data from their business. AI is used to gather data and sometimes even review that data to provide the company with metrics.
