Week 5 - MKTG 6101 - Ascend Your Start-Up


Chapter 5 of Ascend Your Start-Up focuses on the importance of listening to the voice of the customer.  Understanding why your customers are investing in your brand and how to get more customers invested in your brand can be better understood through listening to feedback from the customer. Word of mouth is a free way of marketing so you want to ensure your customers are speaking highly of your product and company. Yu (2021) describes five ways for your company to be customer-centric: treat customers as assets, align intentionally around customer experience, build an active customer listening path, deliver consistent and reliable customer experience, and create a culture of accountability around customer experience.
